Mekar Raya: Traditional Potehi Performance Night marks a historic gathering of five living Potehi traditions from China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia. Sharing the same roots yet shaped by different histories, languages and cultures, these five traditions have each developed their own artistic identity over generations.

Presented as the signature performance of Penang Puppet Festival 2026 – BERBUNGA, this special evening celebrates the remarkable journey of Potehi across Asia through five distinctive performances, offering audiences a rare opportunity to experience how one heritage continues to flourish in diverse cultural landscapes.

《一花開五葉》布袋戲大匯演之夜，匯聚來自中國、臺灣、馬來西亞、新加坡及印尼五個地區的布袋戲團隊，共同呈現布袋戲跨越百年的傳承與演變。雖然同源，卻因不同歷史背景、語言文化與民間信仰，而發展出各具特色的藝術風格。

作為 PPF2026《生花 BERBUNGA》 的重點節目，《一花開五葉》以五齣代表作品，帶領觀眾看見布袋戲如何隨著人群遷徙，在不同土地生根、成長，並綻放出各自精彩的文化風貌。
