🎤 About the Talk
Education does not only happen in the classroom. Through the arts, young people can discover their communities, connect with local culture and develop a stronger sense of identity and belonging.
In this talk, Koh Qiu Ying and Eng Wen Hong share their experiences integrating performance, community engagement and place-based learning into education. Drawing from their work with students and local communities, they will explore how the arts can become a powerful tool for nurturing curiosity, creativity and civic responsibility, while encouraging the next generation to see their hometowns through new eyes.
