Traditional performing arts in Taiwan have undergone remarkable transformation over the past century. While preserving their cultural foundations, different art forms have continually adapted to changing social environments, audiences and artistic practices, giving rise to a rich and diverse performing arts landscape.
In this talk, Dr. Lee Szu Han traces the development of Taiwan's traditional performing arts since the twentieth century, exploring how different genres have responded to historical change while maintaining their artistic identity. Through historical perspectives and contemporary examples, the session reveals how tradition continues to evolve, demonstrating the enduring vitality and cultural significance of Taiwan's performing arts.
臺灣傳統表演藝術自二十世紀以來,在時代變遷中展現出豐富而多元的發展面貌。不同劇種在傳承文化底蘊的同時,不斷回應新的觀演環境與社會需求,持續調整、創新,展現出歷久彌新的文化生命力。
本場講座由李思漢博士帶領觀眾回顧二十世紀以來臺灣傳統表演藝術的發展歷程,探討各劇種如何因應時代變遷,在傳承與創新之間持續開展新的可能,並從中看見臺灣傳統表演藝術豐富多彩的文化樣貌與當代價值。

👤 Speaker 講者
Dr. Lee Szu Han(李思漢博士)
Dr. Lee Szu Han received his PhD from the Graduate School of Human and Environmental Studies at Kyoto University, Japan. He previously served as an Assistant Researcher at the Tsubouchi Memorial Theatre Museum, Waseda University, and is currently an Assistant Professor at the Graduate Institute of Folk Arts and Cultural Heritage, National Taipei University, Taiwan.
His research focuses on traditional Chinese opera, Japanese classical performing arts and comparative theatre studies between Taiwan and Japan. He has curated international exhibitions and academic conferences on East Asian theatre and has published extensively on the history and development of traditional performing arts.
李思漢博士畢業於日本京都大學人間・環境學研究科比較文明論講座,曾任日本早稻田大學坪內博士紀念演劇博物館助理研究員,現任國立臺北大學民俗藝術與文化資產研究所助理教授。
其研究領域涵蓋傳統戲曲、日本古典藝能及中日比較戲劇,曾策劃多項國際學術研討會與展覽,並長期投入東亞傳統表演藝術研究,致力於探討傳統藝術在不同歷史脈絡中的發展與文化交流。
