About
Conceived by Lai Wen Xin, a millennial born and bred in the multigenerational Seri Kembangan Chinese new village, TaTaTa perceives socially disconnected elderly from naive lens of the youth.
Together with her creative collaborators in dance, theatre, as well as set, multimedia, sound, lighting, and costume design, the interdisciplinary performance will transform the old community hall, Dewan Serbaguna Seri Kembangan into a stage of memories and emotions in conjunction with Father’s Day in June.
By bringing together young and old audiences, we hope to foster intergenerational understanding, while inviting thoughts on "what does it mean to you to age?"
