Musicals are not only for lighthearted tales. They harness each song and dance to draw out the raw pain of human relations.

The Story of My Wedding is a musical play unveiling the story of a single, 35-year-old Punjabi lady. Content with her independent life, a good, well-paid job, and friends who fill her days with activities, she is suddenly matchmade. Though reluctant at first, she marries the man after much persuasion from her family, her feelings towards him growing. The story takes the audience through the whole process, from wedding preparations to the grim reality of terrible society.

Spice & Curry

Established in 2023, Spice & Curry aims to create a space for Indian performing arts. Backed by actors, dancers and musicians, they strive to expose audiences to the diverse ethnic backgrounds that Malaysian Indians comprise: Tamils, Malayalees, Gujaratis, Telugus and Punjabis
