About

What happens when tradition steps onto the runway? Heritage in Style 2.0 brings our rich cultural tapestry into the world of contemporary fashion, where time-honoured craft meets bold silhouettes, fresh ideas and modern expression.
From the intricate elegance of the Nyonya Kebaya and the timeless allure of the Nanyang Cheongsam, to the vibrant artistry of Batik and Songket, heritage is reimagined through the creative visions of established designers, emerging talents and the next generation of fashion makers.
Featuring Kenny Loh Couture, Alam Alif, Erin Zamree & Desa Alam Batik, Jade Collection, Equator College, Sawang, VS Label x DS Fashion Design, SPIC International College, AireenZ Fashion, and Karl Ho Craft & Style x Alist Academy of Confidence, the showcase explores the many ways culture can be worn, reinvented and celebrated.
This is heritage beyond the museum—stitched, styled and brought boldly into the future.
Heritage in Style 2.0 is curated by Ivan Choo from Velvet Signature.
