[Workshop] KEMBALI: A Living Introduction to Semai Culture

Facilitated by the Bota Perak Semai indigenous youths behind LOS: Kembali, this two-hour interactive workshop begins with the facilitators sharing their world — their traditions and lived experience. Participants then choose a stream: music, dance, or craft, learning directly from the young people who embody these practices. The session ends with the participants creating something together — Small groups drawn from each stream collaborate to create a short performance of their own. No right or wrong, just curiosity, and an openness to a culture not so different than ours.
