About

Come Home and Eat (Again!) explores the different notions of home and its anxieties, seen through the lens of food. How do we find ourselves and a sense of belonging – in oral myths, eating trends, passed-down recipes, rising food prices, in the kitchen, and at the dining table?

Using a variety of immersive storytelling forms and told from diverse viewpoints, this devised project was put together between January and April 2023. Come Home and Eat (Again!) features an eclectic ensemble and is presented in collaboration with klpac. This second helping includes a few updates to the production’s content.

Also check out our press articles on the production at the bottom of the page.

Content warning: Come Home and Eat (Again!) contains satire, strong language, and adult themes. Loud sounds, bright lights, strobe lights, and real food are used. Viewer discretion is advised. For mature audiences.

Buy more, save more: Tickets to Come Home and Eat (Again!) are RM55 (Standard), RM45 (Bulk purchase of 4 tickets), and RM35 (Bulk purchase of 20 or more tickets for university/college students only – a free workshop is included. Email kelvin@theatresauce.com for details.)
