About
Public speaking isn’t just about talking; it’s about building ideas and expressing them clearly. WORDS & BRICKS: Building Confidence Through Speech is a dynamic, hands-on workshop where participants learn to overcome stage fright, craft impactful speeches, and speak with confidence and clarity.
What makes this workshop different?
Participants will physically build structures using creative bricks or simple building tools and then use those creations as the foundation for their speeches. It’s a unique way to connect imagination, storytelling, and self-expression. You build something, then you speak about it, explaining your process, describing your design, or reflecting on what it represents.
Alongside this creative integration, the workshop covers essential speaking skills: how to organize ideas, project your voice, use body language effectively, and connect with an audience. Expect games, quickfire challenges, confidence drills, and mini speech showcases with personalised feedback.
This workshop is perfect for young children aged 7 to 12 who want to boost their communication skills in a fun, supportive environment. Whether you're preparing for school presentations, competitions, interviews, or just want to speak up more confidently, WORDS & BRICKS makes the process enjoyable and empowering.
No experience required. Just come ready to build, and to speak! !
