About

Confidence begins with a voice and every child deserves to be heard! In this interactive workshop, children will explore the art of emceeing through storytelling, teamwork, and stage play. Designed especially for curious and expressive young minds, MIC & SHINE introduces the fundamentals of hosting: speaking clearly, managing a crowd, expressing emotion, and keeping an audience engaged.

Through voice-projection games, mini hosting sessions, fun warm-ups, and creative role-plays, participants will build communication skills, self-expression, and stage presence,  all in a safe, supportive, and laughter-filled space.

By the end of the session, every child will take the mic and shine with newfound confidence, ready to host their very own mini show!

What makes this workshop different?

1. It’s not just about talking — it’s about connecting.
Most kids’ public speaking classes focus on scripts or memorizing lines. MIC & SHINE teaches children to connect with their audience through energy, empathy, and authentic expression. They learn how to feel what they say.

2. It’s play-based, not pressure-based.
Confidence grows best through play! This workshop uses storytelling, movement, and creative hosting games,  not drills or speeches  to help children explore their voice naturally and joyfully.

3. It introduces real emceeing in a kid-friendly way.
Kids get to experience what real emcees do, from welcoming guests and introducing friends to hosting mini events. They’ll learn tone, flow, teamwork, and improvisation, but through fun scenarios designed for their age.

4. It celebrates every personality.
Whether a child is shy or outspoken, this workshop gives each one a spotlight moment. The focus isn’t on perfection,  it’s on progress, participation, and personality.

5. It blends public speaking + theatre magic.
With Khayma’s background in theatre and communication, the workshop merges stage play, movement, and storytelling,  making each activity imaginative, expressive, and emotionally engaging.

6. It ends with a proud “I did it!” moment.
Every participant gets to take the mic and host a short showcase at the end,  leaving with applause, laughter, and a confidence boost they’ll remember long after the workshop ends

No experience required. Just come ready to build, and to speak! !
