About klpac Open Day
The Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (klpac) is turning 21. To celebrate our birthday month, we are throwing our doors open on 16 May 2026 with a Mini Open Day and everyone is invited!
Whether it is your first-time to klpac or you have been coming for years, we hope you’ll drop by to celebrate with us. Join one of our casual walkabouts where we will bring you around our beloved Century-old building where you’ll get a glimpse of the inner workings of our arts centre which turns over 100 plus shows per year.
You can also get a taste of what we do and what we offer – sit in one of our bite-sized previews including Young KL Singers’ K-pop and J-pop choral tribute “Tokyo x Seoul: Icons & Idols”, Desmond Sim’s new play “Hungry” directed by Christopher Ling as well as performances by musicians from The klpac String Quartet. Try your hand at some workshops too!
Kiddos, our Co-Founders are making a special appearance with their popular “Storytime with Uncle Joe & Aunty Faridah” storytelling session!

Finding gems you'll love…
