About Leo Phillips

Virtuoso violinist Leo Phillips has performed as a soloist with the London Philharmonic, served as concertmaster of The Hallé Orchestra and The Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, and was a founding member of the Vellinger String Quartet as well as leader of the internationally acclaimed Nash Ensemble of London.

During his visit to Malaysia, he joins the faculty and students of the Institute of Music in a chamber music performance that brings to the stage the elegance of Mozart, the vibrancy of Dvořák, and the timeless magic of chamber music.

Admission and Ticketing

  • All guests, including children, are required to present a valid ticket for admission. There is no special pricing for children; all tickets are counted per head.
  • Children under the age of 5 years will not be admitted.
  • IMus staff and students with a valid UCSI ID may enter free of charge.
  • Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable under any circumstances.

Entry and Latecomers

  • Doors will open 30 minutes before the performance.
  • Latecomers may only be admitted during designated breaks or at the discretion of the event staff. Re-entry once the performance has begun is not guaranteed.

During the Performance

  • Please switch all mobile phones and electronic devices to silent mode.
  • No flash photography or unauthorized video recording is allowed during the performance.
  • Talking, whispering, or using devices that may cause distraction is strictly discouraged.

Venue Policies 

  • No food or drinks are allowed inside the recital hall.

  • Smart casual attire is encouraged.
