About
Spanning over four decades of music, this concert by the award-winning Young KL Singers brings the audience on a journey of some of the greatest and most iconic pop songs from Japan and South Korea. J-Pop and K-Pop music continues to be one of Asia’s most recognizable influences across the world, reaching billions of people, setting and shaping trends from lifestyle and fashion to culture, media, politics and many more. From social commentary to ideology, relationships to fantasy, these songs touch on many different facets of life, offering a glimpse into ourselves, celebrating the colours of our humanity through a youthful and vibrant lens. This concert production combines vocal and choral music, dance and fashion in a united celebratory tribute to the musical genre, that is sure to bring smiles and warm the hearts of audiences at klpac.
