About

A ball masked and armed to the teeth. An irreverent musical on the razor’s edge. A toy weapon for playing war. And finally, a miniature desert.

Alle Armi does not speak of this or other wars; it is an experiment. Audiences are thrown into a toy supermarket, invited to explore the political and economic issue of the international arms market, a topic which has become dramatically current. Without relying on words but instead through the performative use of toys, Alle Armi will contaminate techniques and codes in search of a meeting point between civil and object theatre.

As they blur the boundaries between arms and toys, Hombre Collettivo invites audiences to consider the narrative possibilities of images and objects. The whimsical, childlike world of toys has always drawn nourishment from the world of weapons and war, but the inverse is rarely explored.

By amplifying the evocative power of toys and objects, Alle Armi is not just a title, but a formula: a declaration of intent and simultaneously a cry of alarm.
