Brass Beyond the Screen brings some of cinema’s most beloved melodies out of the screen and into the concert room, reimagined through the colour, energy and power of brass.

Presented as part of Rondo’s Ensembles in Residence 2026, the recital features Infinity Brass and Lumino Brass in two distinct musical worlds. Infinity Brass journeys through the evocative soundscapes of Studio Ghibli, with music from Spirited Away, My Neighbour Totoro, Princess Mononoke, Porco Rosso, Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind and Castle in the Sky.

Lumino Brass then turns to the magic of Disney, bringing to life familiar music from Toy Story, The Lion King, Aladdin, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, The Incredibles, Pinocchio and Beauty and the Beast.

From quiet nostalgia to cinematic adventure, Brass Beyond the Screen offers a fresh way to experience music that has accompanied generations of stories — this time, performed live and up close through brass.
