Enchanted: A Journey Through Shakespeare's Magical Scenes

Enchanted: A Journey Through Shakespeare’s Magical Scenes invites audiences into a world of spells, spirits, dreams and transformation.

Performed by young actors aged 8–11, this imaginative showcase weaves together some of Shakespeare’s most magical moments, bringing to life mischievous fairies, mysterious witches, powerful sorcerers and enchanted creatures.

Rather than telling one single story, Enchanted takes the audience on a theatrical journey through scenes inspired by A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Macbeth and The Tempest. Through movement, music, storytelling and ensemble performance, the children explore the wonder, comedy and mystery of Shakespeare’s enchanted worlds.

Expect magic, mischief, dreams and a little bit of chaos as Shakespeare’s most spellbinding characters step out of the page and onto the stage. This is a celebration of young performers, creativity and the timeless power of theatre.

Ms. Sian’s Drama Club

Ms. Sian’s Drama Club offers drama classes for primary school children who are excited to explore performing arts, build their confidence and develop their stage skills. Working with a wide range of ages and abilities, the club is rooted in a child-centred approach: meeting each child where they are and giving them the time, space and encouragement they need to grow. Through creativity, teamwork, imagination and most importantly, fun, children are supported to enjoy theatre while developing as young performers.

Ms. Sian holds an honours degree in Drama alongside a teaching degree and has 20 years’ experience teaching children and young people from Reception through to Year 13. Having also had the honour of training with the Royal Shakespeare Company, she is passionate about making Shakespeare accessible, playful and exciting for young performers. Ms. Sian’s Drama Club has proudly staged previous performances and aims to make each new showcase even more ambitious, joyful and memorable than the last.
