Inspired by the beauty and spirit of Chinese dance, Dance · In Legacy 2026 celebrates the traditions, passion and artistic journey passed down through generations. It reflects the ensemble’s dedication to preserving and promoting Chinese dance, while embracing new possibilities and inspiring the next generation of dancers to carry this legacy forward. Through every movement and performance, we honour the roots that shape us, celebrate the dreams that unite us, and continue to create new pathways for the future of Chinese dance.

About Han Feng Dance Ensemble
Han Feng Dance Ensemble aims to promote Chinese dance locally, encompassing traditional, classical and contemporary Chinese dance. It also provides an avenue for performers. Han Feng Dance Ensemble was formed on May 18th, 2002 when Kuen Cheng Girls' High School Chinese Cultural dance club and its alumni collectively produced our inaugural dance exhibition, 'Ancient Inspiration'. Under the initiative of dance instructor Wong Cheong Chee and several alumni members, Han Feng Dance Ensemble was officially registered in 2005 as a not-for-profit organisation under the Societies Registration Board.

Since its establishment, Han Feng Dance Ensemble has been committed to promoting the art of dance in Malaysia. While focusing on the study of Chinese classical and folk dances, the troupe also strives to create original works that reflect the local Chinese Malaysian culture. Currently, the troupe consists of over 40 members, most of whom are passionate dance enthusiasts.
