About
Come take a seat.
This is a small, welcoming sharing circle created for anyone with an appetite for words, writing, and meaningful connection with other writers. Whether you’re a seasoned writer or someone who has been meaning to start, you’re invited to bring along a piece of your own work and share it in a relaxed, supportive space. Poetry or prose, fiction or non-fiction, first drafts or polished pieces, all forms of writing are welcome.
What happens during the session?
We begin with a short icebreaker to ease into the space, followed by a sharing circle where everyone is invited to read their work aloud. No feedback is given unless requested by the writer specifically. We close with a short reflection to hold what has been shared and heard.
Seats are intentionally limited to 10 participants to keep the circle intimate and grounded. If you sign up, we kindly ask that you honour your spot so someone else can take the seat if you can’t make it.
