About
In conjunction with Mother’s Day, What I’ve Learned From Her is a heartfelt conversation exploring the unique relationship between mothers and daughters through the lens of textile heritage, creativity, and shared practice. Featuring women from different generations who have worked closely together in preserving and evolving traditional craft, this session reflects on the lessons, values, and experiences passed down through family and artistic collaboration.
Join Fatimah Ismail and Nini Marini Ramlan, alongside Sharifah Naemah Khalidza and Adilah Ahmad Khairudin, as they share personal reflections on working together across generations, sustaining heritage practices, and learning from one another both as family and collaborators.
Moderated by Sharmin Parameswaran, this intimate dialogue offers audiences a meaningful glimpse into the emotional and cultural ties that continue to shape Malaysia’s textile and craft traditions today.
