实验舞蹈剧场《拾央手记》是《三十未央》的延伸之作，由旅居德国的编舞家廖正彬创作，以张凌葆老师的代表作《甩不掉》为灵感与基石，对原作进行解构，象征两代舞蹈艺术家之间的薪火传承。

在《三十未央》之后，《拾央手记》是延续，也是回应。从张凌葆老师所编排的动作中取样，重新排列，打散，再聚。你可以在其中看见《三十未央》的动作痕迹——那些曾经齐整、熟悉的民族舞动作，如今被松动、拆解，回归到身体本身。编导廖正彬提出当代提问：这些动作，在我身上是否仍然成立？

《拾央手记》记录师生情谊，每个人的眷念有不同的形状，情怀会长出自己的手脚。在《拾》里，抛弃一二三四，二二三四的整齐划一，允许个人的重组，容纳即兴与偏离。《拾央手记》邀请观众以新的眼光凝视身体、动作与记忆之间的张力，感受传统如何在当下被拾起与重生。

宽舞集 F Y Dance Ensemble

宽舞集是由一群热爱舞蹈艺术的成员与创作者所组成的舞团，核心成员主要来自新山宽柔中学舞蹈团的毕业校友，并多数师承马来西亚舞蹈家张凌葆。自2011年正式成立以来，舞团在华族舞与现代舞的探索中不断创新，从编舞到表演，致力于融合东西方舞蹈元素，持续发挥「宽柔人」的精神，推动舞蹈艺术的发展，并在舞台上创造更多触动人心的瞬间。

多年来，宽舞集积极参与各类演出与舞蹈赛事，包括诗巫国际舞蹈节、全国华族舞蹈公开赛、全国华人舞蹈节，以及宽柔百年校庆大型演出《甩不掉》等，展现卓越的舞蹈创意与表演实力。舞团代表作品涵盖多种风格，包括《秋叶》、《风烛影话》、《影行》及《逐云》等。

Celebrating Cheong Linpoo’s 30-Year Dance Legacy: Revival & Reinterpretation of Classics——An Intergenerational Dialogue Beyond Time

Awakening Steps

Awakening Steps is an experimental dance theatre piece and a continuation of 30: Everlasting Twist, created by Germany-based choreographer Raymond Liew. Drawing inspiration from Cheong Linpoo’s iconic work Inseparable, the piece deconstructs the original to symbolically explore the transmission of artistic legacy between two generations of dance makers.

As a follow-up to 30: Everlasting Twist, Awakening Steps is both an extension and a response. It samples, fragments, rearranges, and reassembles movement phrases drawn from Cheong’s choreography. Within the work, traces of familiar gestures—once disciplined and codified within traditional Chinese dance—are now loosened, broken apart, and returned to the individual body. Through this reimagining, Raymond Liew poses a contemporary question: do these movements still speak through our bodies today?

At its core, Awakening Steps is a tribute to the teacher-student bond, recognizing that memory and attachment take shape differently for everyone—that sentiment, too, grows its own limbs. In this work, the steady rhythm of “one-two-three-four” is cast aside in favor of personal rearrangement, improvisation, and deviation. Awakening Steps invites audiences to reexamine the tension between body, movement, and memory, and to witness how tradition may be gathered, reinterpreted, and reborn in the present.

F Y Dance Ensemble

F Y Dance Ensemble is a dance company formed by a group of passionate dancers and creators, with its core members primarily composed of alumni from the Foon Yew High School Dance Society in Johor Bahru. Many of them have trained under the renowned Malaysian choreographer Cheong Linpoo. Since its official establishment in 2011, the troupe has continuously innovated in its exploration of Chinese ethnic dance and contemporary dance, integrating Eastern and Western dance elements. Upholding the spirit of the "Foon Yew community," the company remains committed to advancing the art of dance and creating more emotionally moving moments on stage.

Over the years, F Y Dance Ensemble has actively participated in various performances and dance competitions, including the Sibu International Dance Festival, the National Chinese Dance Open Competition, the National Chinese Dance Festival, and the large-scale centennial celebration performance of Foon Yew High School, Inseparable. The troupe has demonstrated outstanding creativity and performance excellence. Its representative works span diverse styles, including The Fallen Leaves, Whisper In The Night, A Righteousness Path, and Chasing The Clouds.
