What are we screening this time around?

Keep Roll (Malaysia 🇲🇾)
Two Year 2 film students begin filming their senior, Kai Yuan, for a documentary assignment during the COVID-19 pandemic. What starts as a simple school task unfolds into an unexpected journey of creative struggle, connection, and self-discovery.

Nebulous | 死后散步 (China 🇨🇳)
This story explores vague truths. The filmmaker discusses rumors of self-immolation, jumping off buildings, and cars falling into the water around their school in Beijing. They also reflect on a classmate's suicide during the COVID-19 pandemic, with no news coverage or public information available. This film questions how real stories become hazy through rumours.

For you, Forever 21 那年二十一 (Taiwan 🇹🇼)
On her 21st birthday, A Xin, a Malaysian student studying abroad in Taiwan, meets her brother who has travelled from Malaysia.

My Sister is a Butterfly (UK 🇬🇬)
A sheltered Malaysian teenager visits her estranged sister in England, and old traumas resurface in this pitch-black coming-of-age comedy.
