The 11th International Folk Dance Festival (TARI ’25)
The 11th International Folk Dance Festival (TARI ’25), hosted by the Faculty of Dance, ASWARA, from 19–23 November 2025, serves as a vibrant platform for cultural exchange and creative collaboration among local and international artists.
Established in 1994, the festival continues its mission of preserving and revitalising folk dance traditions through performances, seminars, showcases, and masterclasses. With the theme “Preserving Folk Dance Tradition: Continuity and Change,” TARI ’25 engages over 600 participants from universities, cultural institutions, and professional dance groups across Asia and beyond.

- Seminar TARI ’25 (20–21 Nov) – Featuring keynote and performance lectures by renowned scholars and choreographers.
- Masterclasses (20–22 Nov) – Led by master teachers and international experts.

- Main Performances (20–21 Nov) – High-impact international dance presentations at Panggung Eksperimen, ASWARA.
- Gala Nights (22–23 Nov) – Grand closing performances at Zepp Kuala Lumpur.
