About
Theatre For Young People (T4YP) 2022 Mid-Term Showcase “Lapan Satu” takes inspiration from the traditional Minangkabau folk theatre, “Randai”.
Directed by Zhafir Muzani, “Lapan Satu” borrows its form and its use of space as a base for storytelling. This devised performance includes dialogue, acting, and movement. It explores a variety of stories revolving around the themes of friendship, love, boundaries, and the old and the new.
