Produced by W Productions and written & directed by Mark Beau De Silva, SISA-SISA 2: The Forgotten brings together three original plays that embrace Malaysia’s linguistic richness — Mandarin, Hokkien, English, and Malay — to tell stories of life’s turning points. In the cracks of society, there are always those quietly forgotten — mental health patients, the lonely elderly, families without support. These three moving stories invite audiences to laugh, cry, and reflect alongside the characters, while also confronting the coldness and fractures of our social fabric. Perhaps, as you leave the theatre, you will realize they need more than sympathy — they need understanding and care. This is a stage dialogue about loss and rebirth, solitude and hope. Through the tears and laughter of its characters, audiences will see themselves reflected, and rediscover the raw essence of humanity and compassion.

SISA-SISA 2: The Forgotten marks the much-anticipated return of award-winning director–playwright Mark Beau De Silva, who joins forces with a stellar cast — Douglas Wong, Kathyn Tan, Roax Tan, and Zhafir Muzani — to bring three powerful stories to life. Through laughter and tears, audiences will witness the struggles of the forgotten — and rediscover the compassion, courage, and hope that keep us human.

1. 《别人家的孩子 Other People’s Children》

一名独身女性的人生计划在父亲中风后被迫改写。Eunice 从外地回到北海照顾父亲，迎面而来的是熟悉的父权——因病而有所收敛，却依旧在空气里盘旋。这究竟是她独立生活的终点，还是全新道路的起点？ 
A single woman’s life plans are upended when her father suffers a stroke. Returning to Butterworth to care for him, Eunice confronts the familiar shadow of patriarchy—muted by illness yet still lingering. Is this the end of her independence, or the beginning of something entirely new?

2. 《玲玲走失了 Leng Leng Lost 》

槟城的一间医院里，一位母亲每年农历七月都会回来寻找八岁的女儿玲玲。医生以冷硬的“科学解释”加重了她的情感伤口，于是在一位中华茅山师傅的协助下，她将混乱的悲伤碎片拼回意义，也在阴影中找到慰籍。 
In a Penang hospital, a mother returns every year during the 7th month, searching for her lost daughter, Leng Leng. As the hospital doctor deepens her wounds with blunt scientific truths, a Chinese Mou San (medium) helps her make sense of grief, piecing together meaning in the shadows. Emotional Value: Obsession in sorrow, the clash of science and faith, and finding solace in grief.

3. 《静寂的愉悦 Joy After Silence》

沉默与孤独是否注定荒凉？《Joy After Silence》改编自 Dean Lundquist 的《Joy of Solitude》，重新编写了孤独与疗愈的边界。在孤寂的角落里，也许能绽放另一种喜悦。 
Is solitude destined to be bleak? Joy After Silence, a reimagining of Dean Lundquist’s Joy of Solitude, redefines the boundaries of loneliness and healing. In the quiet corners of silence, a different kind of joy awaits.
