Dance Technique Class with T.H.E Dance Company Dance Artists

Develop your dancers’ technical and artistic growth with a contemporary dance technique class led by a T.H.E Dance Company dance artist. These sessions focus on developing strength, precision, and expression, blending foundational training with influences from T.H.E’s creative practices.
Artist's Bio
1. Billy Keohavong
Rehearsal Master & Dance Artist
Billy is a first-generation Laotian-Australian artist based in Eora (Sydney). He received scholarships to train at both the New Zealand School of Dance and Ev & Bow Full-Time Training Centre. Billy specialises in movement coaching and improvisation, with a focus on character and sensorial work. Currently, Billy serves as Rehearsal Master while continuing as a dance artist with T.H.E Dance Company. He has performed extensively at festivals including the Florence Dance Festival (Italy); Fukuoka Fringe Dance Festival (Japan); Daegu Dance Festival (South Korea); and Sydney Festival (Australia).
His repertoire includes collaborations with acclaimed choreographers such as Kuik Swee Boon; Kim Jae Duk; Ross McCormack; Sue Healey; Martin del Amo; Meryl Tankard; and Dimo Kirilov Milev. Beyond contemporary dance, Billy is part of the Australian Ballroom (Vogue) community and a member of The House of IMAN in Aotearoa (New Zealand), where he is the current Father of the Sydney Chapter.
