两年半的戏剧与影像学习里，被老师说我们“没有天赋，但很努力”，简称“一群努力的笨蛋’‘。我们承认自己的稚拙与粗糙，也接受成长总伴随着眼泪和不确定。但正因为如此，我们发现原来没有天赋并不可怕，只要愿意坚持，慢慢走也算前进。因为我们相信：“Never cry, never know”。

这场影展不是关于完成梦想，而是关于当梦想仍遥远时，依然没有停下脚步的我们。我们是一群抱着梦想、一边怀疑自己、一边拼命努力的笨蛋，而这条路，我们会继续走下去，希望你能够参与并见证我们的成长！

Two and a half years into studying theatre and film, our lecturer once told us: what we lack in talent, we make up for in effort. So that's who we became — a group that works twice as hard to close the gap.

We're not polished. We're not perfect. Growth comes with tears and doubt, and we've made peace with that. Because we believe: Never cry, never know.

This isn't a festival about finishing dreams. It's about still moving forward while the dream feels far away.

影展形式 Filmfest Structure

新纪元大学学院戏剧与影像系历届毕业生曾举办不少巡回影展，跨越各校与州属，进行毕业影展。《一群努力的笨蛋》也不例外。我们将展开为期4天的巡回影展，带着2部作品到各州或学校进行播映，并借此机会与学生、师长及公众深入交流创作理念与制作经验。闭幕放映当天我们将邀请业界影人参与毕业生作品的讲评。

Graduates from the Department of Drama and Visuals at New Era University College have a tradition of touring film festivals — travelling across schools and states to showcase their graduation works. "Never Cry Never Know" continues that tradition.

We're launching a 4-day touring festival, bringing 2 films to different states and campuses. Along the way, we'll sit down with students, lecturers, and the public to talk about our creative process and what it took to make these films.

On closing night, industry professionals will join us to review and discuss the graduates' work.

The disappearance of a memorial portrait sets a father and daughter on a desperate three-day journey, an absurd attempt to save their mother’s soul and guide her into reincarnation.
