THE UNSUNG HEROES is a story-led symphonic concert that honours two extraordinary figures in Malaysian history: Sybil Kathigasu, the wartime heroine awarded the George Medal, and Kapitan Yap Ah Loy, the visionary leader who helped rebuild and shape Kuala Lumpur.
Presented by a live orchestra, choir, vocal soloists, and narrator, the concert features selected music and stories from two original Malaysian stage works: Solace of Papan and Kapitan – The Musical.
Guided by narration and supported by projected lyrics with bilingual translations, audiences of all backgrounds can follow these moving journeys without needing prior knowledge of Malaysian history.
《被遗忘之光》是一场交响叙事音乐会，向两位不平凡的马来西亚历史人物致敬：获颁乔治勋章的抗战女英雄西碧儿・卡迪卡素，以及协助重建并塑造吉隆坡的远见领袖——甲必丹叶亚来。
音乐会由现场乐团、合唱团、声乐独唱与旁白共同呈现，精选自两部马来西亚原创舞台作品：《甲板传奇》歌剧与《甲必丹》音乐剧。
透过旁白引导，并配合投影歌词及双语翻译字幕，即使不熟悉马来西亚历史的观众，也能轻松跟随音乐，走进这两段动人的人生旅程。
