ARVAN 阿爾梵 — Unplugged

Malaysian band ARVAN brings its genre-defying sound to the festival in an intimate unplugged duo featuring lead vocalist Aki and guitarist Aaru8 (阿陸八).

Known for blending elements of heavy metal, post-rock, and lyrical melodies, ARVAN’s music explores the depths of human emotion and the many facets of human nature. In this stripped-back setting, Aki’s distinctive vocals and Aaru8’s expressive guitar work reveal a more intimate and raw side of the band’s music.

Formed in 2017 by seasoned musicians with nearly two decades of experience in Malaysia’s music scene, ARVAN has performed at major festivals in Malaysia and internationally, including Taiwan’s Gongliao International Ocean Music Festival, City ROARS! Music Festival, Sky Music Festival, and Urbanscapes. In 2020, the band was awarded Best Band at the AIM Chinese Music Awards.
