About

TEWAS: No Light at the End of the Tunnel” is a visceral theatrical experience that exposes the devastating impact of bullying—from school corridors to workplace hierarchies. Through raw storytelling and explosive physical theatre, the work plunges audiences into a fractured world shaped by violence, silence, complicity, and survival.

After its premiere in Penang and a powerful Kuala Lumpur season, “TEWAS: No Light at the End of the Tunnel” now arrives at the George Town Festival. Its Kuala Lumpur presentation garnered seven nominations at the 2025 BOH Cameronian Arts Awards, culminating in a win for Best Group/Ensemble Performance in the Theatre category.

Unflinching yet deeply human, “TEWAS: No Light at the End of the Tunnel” stands as both a performance and a reckoning, a collective scream from those trapped within systems that fail to protect them.
