Maquiling Orchestra is an official student performing group based in the Philippine High School for the Arts in Makiling, Los Baños, Laguna. Composed of students majoring in music, it is dedicated to developing students’ performance in small and large ensembles, while fostering camaraderie among peers. The orchestra also helps promote Filipino heritage with the inclusion of more local instruments such as the guitar and bandurria, among others. Maquiling Orchestra performs a repertoire that extends from classical music to Filipino compositions and contemporary music, all exclusively arranged. The Maquiling Orchestra performs for social and community functions, and has most recently performed for the Goldenberg Student Recital series in Malacañang Palace, Manila last March 17, 2026, and for the Sunset at the Park series by the Local Government of Los Baños, Laguna last March 20, 2026.
