About
Twelve-year-old piano prodigy from Hsinchu, Taiwan, Chun-Ning Chen began studying piano at the age of three under the guidance of her mother before continuing her formal studies with Professor Chun-Chieh Yen at the age of seven. Despite her young age, Chun-Ning has already demonstrated an extraordinary level of musical maturity, technical brilliance, and artistic depth that continues to captivate audiences internationally.
She has worked with distinguished pianists including Fabio Bidini, Natalia Trull, and Aimi Kobayashi, and has received numerous awards, including First Prize in the Upper Elementary Division of the One and Only Music Competition 2025, with an invitation to perform at the Winners’ Concert, as well as First Prize in the Upper Elementary Division of the Taipei Excellence Cup Piano & Violin Competition 2024. She also participated in the International Master Piano Festival from 2024 to 2026, receiving the Honorable Mention of Promising Star at the Rising Stars Concert & Competition in both 2024 and 2025. Earlier this year, she won the Rising Star Audition at the 2026 International Master Piano Festival, becoming the first young Taiwanese pianist in six years to receive this honor.
In September 2025, Chun-Ning presented her debut solo recital at the Taipei National Recital Hall, where her performance of a complete set of Chopin Études captivated audiences with its remarkable maturity and artistry. She will soon bring it to UCSI University, Malaysia, showcasing the brilliant expression and refinement. Videos from her playing gained widespread attention on social media, accumulating nearly million views from music lovers around the world.
