About

Reconnect with the living world beneath our feet through Soilful Exploration — a hands-on session that invites participants to engage with soil, ecosystems, and the deeper connections between nature, food, climate, and community.

In a world increasingly shaped by agritech and concrete jungles, this workshop opens up conversations about the role soil plays in sustaining life and how our relationship with soil is closely tied to food systems, climate change, regeneration, and ecological resilience.

Participants will experience interactive activities designed to encourage curiosity, reflection, and connection with the natural environment. Alongside the hands-on exploration, the facilitators will also share lived experiences from working on farms in Singapore and abroad, as well as collaborations with local community gardens through research partnerships with the National Parks Board.

This session offers a welcoming space for participants to slow down, reconnect with nature, and gain a deeper appreciation for the ecosystems that support everyday life.
