Sky Yuen Exhibition

Sky Yuen studied Typography at the London College of Printing in the UK in his early years. After returning home, he taught at MIA and KDU, where he nurtured many outstanding talents in the creative industry over the years.

This exhibition presents the movable wood type with which he created his letterpress art works, archive and a documentary video setting up Lostprints Studio, where he works together with artists and designers.

Sky Yuen mendalami seni tipografi di London College of Printing, United Kingdom, pada zaman mudanya. Sepulangnya ke tanah air, beliau berkhidmat sebagai tenaga pengajar di MIA dan KDU, serta melahirkan ramai bakat unggul dalam dunia kreatif selama bertahun-tahun.

Pameran ini menghimpunkan koleksi huruf cetak kayu yang menjadi asas kepada karya seni letterpress beliau, selain bahan arkib dan sebuah dokumentari mengenai penubuhan Lostprints Studio, sebuah ruang kerjasama yang mempertemukan beliau dengan para artis dan pereka.
