Manusia Through Your Writing, with Afi Noor

Not everything a piece holds stays silent. 

A spoken word session and moderation where you as a writer get to translate what's held in an art piece into what can be spoken and embodied. 

The session moves through sitting with prompts that are drawn out from the art. What it holds before any words are chosen, shaping language around that to find what the image can't say directly. We will bring the words alive from the page by speaking it aloud and have it converse with the artworks from the exhibition, followed by a moderated discussion and a group poem. 

*This session will be mainly conducted in English and Bahasa Melayu, but writers and poets of all languages are welcomed
