In this facilitated discussion, we invite Palestinian theatre director Ahmed Tobasi, born in the Jenin refugee camp. After four years as a political prisoner, he began a journey of using theatre as a tool for resistance.

In conversation with Puan Sri Normah Hashim from the Hashim Sani Centre for Palestine Studies and Dr Syafiq Faliq Bin Alfan from the Faculty of Creative Arts, University of Malaya, the session unpacks how art can be used as a tool for resistance and a catalyst for change.

Dr Syafiq Faliq will also perform his piece entitled, "The Right to...?".
