The quena and the quenacho are wind flutes that convey profound emotions.

Their sound can be soft and melancholic, like the sigh of the wind in the mountains, or strong and vibrant, like the cry of freedom of a people.

Pakari (Henry Camuendo), renowned as the Equator Overseas Music Promotion Ambassador, is celebrated as one of the last great masters of indigenous Andean music and a legendary figure in the world of Andean flutes.

A versatile artist, Pakari is an accomplished performer of Andean wind instruments and percussion. He is proficient in the quena, quenacho, zampoña, antara, toyos, as well as traditional drums, with a particular mastery of the iconic Andean flutes that embody the soul of this music. Through his artistry, these millennia-old instruments are revitalized, carrying the hauntingly beautiful melodies of the South American mountains to audiences around the world.

Born into a musical family, Pakari’s journey began early. At just three years old, his father discovered his innate musical talent, and by six, he had already joined his father’s ensemble, setting the stage for a remarkable career. In 2012, he relocated to Russia, where his music quickly emerged as a cultural trend. From 2017 onwards, his unique talent led him to be invited to major festivals and cultural celebrations throughout Russia, where he performed alongside many internationally acclaimed artists, adding his voice to a global dialogue in the arts.

His first solo album, released in 2019, was widely acclaimed as a testament to his artistry and vision. By 2020, Pakari had expanded his presence to global online platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and VK, using digital media to transcend geographical borders. Through this, he has introduced Andean music to diverse international audiences, furthering its recognition and appreciation worldwide.

In 2022, he began a close collaboration with the Embassy of Equator, using music as a bridge to highlight his nation’s cultural richness. This partnership, which continues to this day, has become a celebrated model of cultural exchange and diplomacy.

Beyond a music performance, it is a living epic of South American civilization. Rich with cultural texture and artistic diversity, his music draws listeners into the misty peaks of the Andes. In his hands, instruments are not merely tools of sound, but spiritual bonds connecting humanity with nature, and history with the present. 本场演出的演奏者Pakari（帕卡利），原名Henry Camuendo（亨利·卡蒙多），厄瓜多尔海外音乐推广大使、印第安最后的音乐大师之一、印第安长笛界的传奇人物。

他是安第斯吹奏乐器演奏家、鼓手，精通quena、quenacho、zampoña、antara、toyos等乐器和鼓，特别是最能体现安第斯音乐的传统长笛。他以精湛的技巧，让传承千年的安第斯乐器在手中焕发生命，演绎来自南美山脉的悠扬旋律。
