Speaker: Shamsul Bahrin Zainuzzaman
Shamsul Bahrin Zainuzzaman is the Co-Founder and Business Development, Event & Public Relations Director of LOCCO Malaysia, a community-driven collective he established in 2017 to celebrate and showcase the nation’s culture, heritage, and people. He has spearheaded some of Malaysia’s most iconic cultural activations, including the rebranding and growth of Keretapi Sarong into the country’s largest public cultural flashmob, along with initiatives such as Hari Sarong, Lenggong Outdoor Festival, Lenggang Kebaya, and Batik On Lah!. Known for blending storytelling, PR expertise, community engagement, sponsorship building, and cultural diplomacy, Shamsul has positioned LOCCO as a leader in creating events that empower local communities, preserve heritage, and contribute to Malaysia’s nation branding both locally and regionally.

She is a communications professional with a background in media and marketing. Born in Malaysia, she holds a Master’s in Integrated Marketing CommunicationfromUniversitiSains Malaysia and a Bachelor’s in Mass Communication from UCSI University. She previously served as Project Manager for the I Want Festival.
