与农夫一起看戏 - 【种土】| A Movie Date with Farmer - Soul of Soil

This September, Kongsi Co-op brings a documentary from Taiwan – 'Soul of Soil' to the screens of Malaysia. Follow the story of two farmers in building healthy soil and the fate of their hardwork... 

On 6th and 7th September 2025, join us and our local organic farmers in the first official screening of the film at the Auditorium of Dasein Academy of Art, followed by a dialogue with the farmers.

This screening will help the public understand why it is so important for Fund a Land with Kongsi movement to achieve this mission— to secure a 30-year-old organic farmland by October 2025. Find out how you can contribute to this movement here.

About the documentary:
'Soul of Soil' by Yen Lan-Chuan, which took 8 years to film, followed two individuals in Taiwan closely, who dedicated their time and effort in revitalizing depleted soil. Jin, a former tech worker, makes compost from waste collected to improve the soil quality; while Uncle An-ho, who uses organic methods for 30 years in growing his jujube orchard. The film highlights their commitment to sustainable agriculture and the challenges they face. Watch trailer

此纪录片在2024年九月下旬在台湾上映，并入围第61届金马奖最佳纪录片。

《种土》是由台湾導演颜兰权新作，以8年的时间跟拍两位农民- 熱血科技青年阿仁与已近耳順的有机农夫安和哥， 在面对土壤生病，在理想和现实拉扯中，如何各試死土復生之道， 让家乡的土壤有机会进入自然修复的情况。
