RSVP - KRF2024 Festival Opening

The Klang River Festival (KRF) returns this year with the theme "Act!vate," focusing on sparking environmental awareness through collective action and reconnection with nature. Running from September 9 and culminating in a grand finale on November 29 - December 1, KRF 2024 will host a series of engaging activities, workshops, and events to foster community efforts in revitalising the Klang River and its surroundings.

What Does “Activation” Mean?

This year, “Activation” emphasises community-led initiatives to enhance the environment and strengthen our connections with the river. We aim to inspire impactful actions like tree planting, which contribute to boosting biodiversity, improving air quality, and restoring the ecosystem—creating a healthier space for children, the elderly, and future generations. By bringing the community together, we hope to inspire meaningful change through collective efforts and hands-on experience.
