Dominic first began his dance journey with ballroom dancing at the tender age of 7 in William & Luisa DanceWorld under his parents' guidance. At the age of 10, he started his first ballet class with his mother and fell in love with the art form ever since. In 2016, Dominic received a full-year scholarship to the prestigious Kirov Academy of Ballet of Washington, D.C. in the 1st Malaysia International Ballet Grand Prix. During his time there, Dominic studied and trained in the Russian method under the guidance of Bat Udval, Stanislav Belyaevsky and Anastasia Dunets in the Junior Company class of 2017-2018. In June 2019, Dominic participated in the 22nd The Dance Society of Malaysia Classical Solo Ballet Competition in Malaysia and was awarded 1st place in the senior category. Later in the same year, he joined Ballet Manila’s second company and was promoted to the Main Company as a Company Artist in October 2019. During the pandemic, Dominic proceeded to join Ballet Theatre Malaysia and continued to perform in in leading roles and principal roles in their productions and excerpts.
Dominic is currently a guest performer and has experience in performing for various local and international dance academies, including the USA, the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and many other countries.
Dominic's classical repertoire includes many leading roles like Snow Prince and Sugar Plum Cavalier in 'The Nutcracker’, Prince Desire in 'Sleeping Beauty', Mercutio in 'Romeo and Juliet', Flames of Paris Pas de Deux, Conrad, Lankedem and Ali in 'Le Corsaire’, Talisman Pas de Deux and etc.
