Jerry Pang is a performing arts practitioner graduating from the TUTAS Bachelor of Performing Arts program. Since 2022, he has been actively involved in theatre as a performer, writer, and director.
His stage credits include 5:4:3:2:1, Wherefore Art Thou, Juliet, Jebat, Mariam, The Sisters Soong, and Dead Tourist. He also appeared in a cameo role in Poly, made his vocal debut in Golden Melody 5: Kings Meet Queens, and marked his musical theatre debut in his graduation showcase, Searching….
Beyond the stage, Jerry has represented Malaysia at international platforms such as the Asian Youth Theatre Festival and the World Conference on Statelessness Issues. In 2024, he received the Best Overall Production Award at the Short & Sweet Festival in the theatre category.
Apart from acting on stage, Jerry has starred in the short films ‘Fall Out’ and ‘The Inclusion Experiment’, the latter of which he also directed. He was also chosen to represent Malaysia at the Asian Youth Theatre Festival 2023 held in Iloilo City in the Philippines. In February 2024, he was one of two Malaysian representatives selected for the performance team of ‘Grief Unanswered’, a play based on real-life stories of the stateless that was presented at the 2024 World Conference on Statelessness in Taylor’s University, organised by the Institute on Statelessness and Inclusion (ISI)
