About

In titus andronicus, the timeless themes of violence and revenge are explored through a lens of realism combined with poetic stylization. This adaptation delves deep into the motivations driving each character, revealing the brutal consequences of their choices.

titus andronicus tracks the tragic journey of its titular character, illustrating how one choice inexorably leads to another, culminating in a cascade of violence and heartbreak. As Titus navigates the labyrinth of loyalty, honour, and vengeance, we witness the profound impact of each decision on his fate and the lives of those around him.

This performance features a condensed cast of 10 actors, with some roles gender-swapped to bring new perspectives to the story. The stark contrast between beauty and brutality is highlighted through the innovative use of real, dead, and dried flowers, integrated into the set, props, and costumes. These elements serve as powerful symbols of the violence and decay that permeate the narrative, creating a hauntingly beautiful visual experience.

The audience will be fully immersed in the action, seated inside the square formation stage, reminiscent of a mosh pit, ensuring an intimate and dynamic viewing experience.
