About
When cloistered piety meets absolute corruption, a soul is shattered, and a family is pushed to the brink. Teater Ihsan dan Hikmah follows Kamal Ihsan, a youth whose isolated devotion blinds him to the venomous traps of the tyrant Tuan Haji Basurd. Seduced by a counterfeit paradise, Kamal falls into a nightmare of addiction and tyranny. Half a decade later, it takes the fierce, proactive wisdom of his sister, Kamila, and the miraculous, redemptive grace of an outcast named Intan to break his spiritual chains. Witness a haunting, poetic crucible where individual faith must merge with collective wisdom to conquer the darkest evils. A masterpiece of spiritual warfare originally by late Mana Sikana (Almarhum Abdul Rahman Hanapiah), Teater Ihsan dan Hikmah is a breathtaking exploration of fractured faith, familial bloodlines, and the ultimate power of communal unity. This production breathes life into 'Taabudiyyah', the groundbreaking Islamic literary theory pioneered by the legendary Mana Sikana.
Advisory: This performance contains the use of haze and strobe lighting.

About the The Qum Actors (TQA)
Founded in 2009, The Qum Actors (TQA) is a prominent theatre production company based in Kuala Lumpur. This creative collective theatre production team was co-founded by Prof. Dr. Shamsul Rahman Mohamed Kutty (Prof. Shark), a lecturer at one of the local University in Tronoh, Perak together with Mohamad Faisal Aziz and Muhamad Yusuf Amat (Akin Muhammad), both executives in engineering firm sector. TQA believe that the relationship between engineering, art and theatre is a dynamic and growing field that bridges the gap between two traditionally separate disciplines.
The roots of TQA trace back to the Tronoh Theatre Shop (TTS), a UTP student theatre group where all founding members initially sharpened their skills through art and theatre via informal learning and experiential learning that occurs outside structured educational settings. Their artistic journeys blossomed through modern drama, traditional Bangsawan, and mime performances staging across UTP, Perak, and Kuala Lumpur. Individual members of TQA also branched into solo projects, particularly showcasing mime acts under the unique brand 'Ash in the Ashes' and some pursue master’s in art and theatre. Eager to revitalize their presence in local industry, TQA has launched an Ipoh branch theatre production team to anchor its artistic revival in Perak. Although the members of TQA do not work in the art and theatre full-time, their profound passion for theater drives them to seize opportunities and create spaces to remain actively involved, enriching the theatrical arts arena in Malaysia.
