Malaysian Conductor / Composer, Caeleb Tee is a Teaching Fellow at Sunway University School of Arts. He is also the founder and Music Director of Caeleb Tee Music and 12tone Ensemble. His production "Love and Strength United" became one of the recipients of The BOH Cameronian Grants for New Productions 2022 by Kakiseni, in which he conducted Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No.3 and Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy. As a conductor, he has worked with Yin Qi Music, led Yin Qi Choir and orchestra in numerous performances such as Mozart's Requiem, Handel’s Messiah, and Handel's Mass in the troubled times. As a composer, Caeleb have had compositions and arrangements performed by Yin Qi, BachFest Malaysia, The World Association for Chinese Church Music, Hallelujah Oratorio Society, Malaysia Philharmonic Orchestra, and Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre String Orchestra.

Caeleb holds Master’s Degree in Music Composition from Westminster Choir College (Princeton NJ), and Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Performance from Liberty University (Lynchburg VA). His choral work “For I Know The Plans I Have For You” won the Westminster Choir College Commencement Anthem Competition, and was presented during the Class of ’17 Commencement Ceremony at Princeton University Chapel. His piano work “Four Bagatelles” won the 2016 Andrew Phillips Award. When Caeleb was at Liberty University, he won the Aria & Concerto Competition, and performed Rachmaninoff’s Second Piano Concerto with the Liberty University Symphony Orchestra. He has also received both the Senior Pianist of the Year 14-15 Award, and Outstanding Musician Award from Liberty University.

郑氏持有美国普林斯顿、威斯敏斯特合唱学院的作曲硕士学位，以及林奇堡利博帝大学的钢琴演奏学士学位。他的合唱作品《 For I Know The Plans I Have For You 》在威斯敏斯特合唱学院毕业歌曲创作比赛中获胜，并在 2017 年毕业典礼上被演出。他的钢琴作品《 Four Bagatelles 》也曾荣获 2016 年安德鲁·菲利普斯奖。郑氏在利博帝大学期间，曾在协奏曲比赛中获胜，并与利博帝大学交响乐团合作演奏了拉赫玛尼诺夫的《第二钢琴协奏曲》。他还获得了自由大学颁发的“14-15 年度钢琴家奖”、以及“杰出音乐家奖”。

We aim to create beautiful music, and nurture a love for choral artistry.

12tone Ensemble

Zhang Chi graduated from Monash University(Melbourne), Master of music. He was engaged in many concerts and boardcasting during the years in Australia. After graduation, he moved to Penang, Malaysia, activated as concert pianist, piano teacher, piano collaborator, and composer. He often perfoms with both local and international musicians,and played concertos with orchestrals as well as piano solo recitals. He is often invited to be jury in many competitions. Mr. Zhang Chi is also a Steinway Artist and Steinway Teacher and Education Partner.
