Travel Sketching: Kopitiam in Pen and Watercolor

Ever felt the urge to capture a magical travel moment that a camera lens just couldn't do justice?Join us for a relaxing, creative afternoon where you’ll learn the fundamentals of travel sketching. In this immersive 2.5 hours workshop, explore the beautiful world of fountain pen drawing through the illustration of a nostalgic kopitiam storefront, and tips on adding characters to your travel sketches.

You will learn how to control lines in thick and thin, tips for drawing with a fountain pen, master ink control, and top it off with a light watercolor wash. Absolutely beginner-friendly and no prior drawing experience is required. A line template will be provided as references for guidance and an extra confidence boost!

By the end of this session, you’ll have the confidence to grab a pen, step outside, and start illustrating your own travel adventures

Open to anyone aged 18 and above. Whether you are looking to pick up a new creative hobby or simply want to unplug and enjoy a mindful afternoon of drawing, this space is for you

Just bring your curiosity! All tools are provided for use during the workshop, from specialized fountain pens and waterproof ink to professional watercolor palettes, brushes, and paper. Plus, you’ll receive a line template as guidance to ensure your artwork turns out beautifully.
