| Rain Keeper by Ahmad Aiman Bin Ahmad Saladin | Rain Keeper is a heartfelt 3D animated short film created by a small group called EhSthetics. It’s about how a simple act of kindness can change lives. The story follows Andersun, an elderly café owner struggling to keep his family business alive, and Rae, a young social media influencer. One gloomy evening, Rae visits Andersun’s nearly empty café and he was thrilled to finally serve a customer after so long. However, Rae remained distracted the entire time on her phone and ignored his presence. Suddenly, she receives an urgent message, forcing her to leave but she was trapped by the heavy rain outside. Despite their brief and distant interaction, Andersun kindly lends her his umbrella without hesitation. Touched by his sincerity and hospitality, Rae secretly uses her online platform to promote the hidden café. Slowly, customers begin returning, bringing life back to the place Andersun thought he had already lost. |
| Pinggiran by Muhammad Emran | In an isolated settlement, two men carrying the burdens of their past cross paths under the same roof. Firdaus is a former young imam from his village mosque who was cast out after being caught stealing mosque donation funds for his own self-interest. On the other hand, Roshid is an ex-convict living in isolation after being viewed negatively by his own family. Their conversation deepens when Roshid reveals that he went to prison for murder. He killed his brother-in-law, unable to bear seeing his own sister become a victim of abuse by the man. However, his actions led to a misunderstanding within their family. While taking in the serene atmosphere after the rain, both of them realize that a pure image does not guarantee virtue, and a dark past does not forever define a person's worth. Having gone through a dark phase like a fierce rainstorm, they are now striving to improve themselves and accept this fate with an open heart. They believe that there will always be hope "after the rain". |
| Petrichor: The Missing Lies of Taiping by Venoo Kuppusamy | The Missing Lies of Taiping is a mockumentary set in Taiping following the heaviest rainfall in decades. Shortly after the rain stops, an unusual phenomenon emerges: the residents of Taiping lose the ability to lie. While they are still capable of writing lies through text messages, emails, and social media, spoken lies become impossible. Presented through interviews with people from different walks of life, including a doctor, a business owner, a married couple, a young digital marketer, teachers, politician, lawyer and ordinary residents, the film explores how this sudden compulsion to speak only the truth has affected their daily life. Relationships are tested, professions are challenged, and silence gradually becomes the common form of communication. As the town adapts to life without lies, unexpected benefits also begin to surface. Honest conversations foster deeper understanding, hidden truths come to light, and some residents discover a newfound freedom in embracing who they truly are. Blending humour, social commentary, and speculative fiction, Petrichor examines the complicated role that lies play in human relationships and society. As another period of heavy rain approaches, the people of Taiping await things to return to normal even though their life has been impacted forever. |

But what if those rituals exclude the very people who grieve the most? This short documentary follows Wen Huey, a daughter who lost her father and was told that tradition forbade her from leading his funeral rituals. Caught between grief and expectation, she had to decide what honouring her father truly meant. Through this intimate story, the film gently challenges us to examine the line between preserving culture and practising it blindly — and whether a meaningful farewell is found in ritual, or in love. |

| Message From The Future by D-NI (Wan Dinnie) | Aiman, an 11-year-old boy, has never really cared about his health. To him, he is still young, there will always be time to change. But his life takes a strange turn when he begins receiving mysterious letters claiming to be from himself... from the future.
