About the Production
Anak Sarawak is an original musical that weaves together history, culture, and contemporary youth experiences in a powerful coming-of-age story. The production follows Thomas, a teenager struggling with cyberbullying and a sense of disconnection from his identity, who embarks on a transformative journey with the legendary Iban warrior Rentap. Through music, dance, and drama, audiences are taken on a journey that celebrates Sarawak’s rich cultural heritage while exploring themes of resilience, belonging, self-discovery, and the importance of community.
