然而，自由之路远比想象残酷。西奈山下，百姓背弃信仰，铸起金牛犊；迦南边境，探子回报恐惧，煽动叛乱。等待他们的，不是乐土，而是四十年旷野的漂泊与试炼。

当摩西最终眺望那片他毕生向往却未能踏入的土地，史诗的终章写满了领袖的宿命与人性的挣扎。他能否带领族人进入最终的应许？这位伟大的先知，又将迎来怎样的结局？

【About Moses】

Born under the shadow of the sword, yet raised within the walls of a palace. Moses—an Egyptian prince who carried Hebrew blood—fled tyranny into the desert, and remained there, exiled, for forty years.

Until, amid the flames of a burning bush, a divine call awakened him. He returned to Egypt, shook the dynasty with ten plagues, parted the Red Sea, and led six hundred thousand slaves out of bondage, racing toward the Promised Land.

Yet the road to freedom proved far crueler than imagined. At Mount Sinai, the people abandoned their faith to mold a golden calf. At Canaan's border, scouts returned with fear and incited rebellion. What awaited was not a paradise, but forty long years of desert wandering and relentless trial.

As Moses finally looks upon the land he has yearned for his entire life—but will never set foot in—the epic's final act unfolds, a testament to a leader's destiny and the frailty of human nature. Will he lead his people into the ultimate promise? And what end awaits this great prophet?

【关于音乐剧】

《摩西》音乐剧是融合了德国作曲家 安东·鲁宾斯坦的《摩西, Op. 67》、马克斯·布鲁赫 的《摩西, Op. 112》、黑人灵歌《可怜的流浪汗》和柴可夫斯基的《第六交响曲》第一章音乐篇幅所衍生的著作。 音乐剧主创融合新编曲、剧本、舞美及神学、考古、心理学，再现圣经典故于舞台。

音乐剧由陈卓莹担任制作人兼音乐总监；张湘幼导演；陈舒倩编剧；陈子虔博士中文歌词翻译。  

音乐剧由男高音陈大川老师领衔主演摩西一角。配角为陈芳恒（饰 亚伦）、郑美娟 （饰 米利暗）、何静熔（饰  约基别）、吴俞博（饰 法老）、李翔羚和何名武（饰 教唆者）。

本剧特邀全马专业乐手与诗巫国度管弦乐团现场伴奏；基拿尼雅圣乐团、基拿尼雅青年圣歌团和MPI Choir、基拿尼雅少年圣咏团、基拿尼雅庆典儿童诗班以及多位兴趣爱好音乐剧表演的70位合唱群演所呈现。全剧以中文演绎； 演出现场配有中英文字幕。

【About the Musical】

This musical incorporates musical material from Anton Rubinstein's Moses, Op. 67, Max Bruch's Moses, Op. 112, the African American spiritual Poor Wayfaring Stranger, and the first movement of Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 6. The musical's creative team fuses new arrangements, libretto, and scenography with theology, archaeology, and psychology to recreate the biblical accounts on stage.

The musical is produced by Esther Ting, who also serves as Music Director; directed by Elise Tiong; script by Joyce Ting; with Chinese lyric translation by Dr. David Chin.

The musical stars tenor Okawa Tan in the leading role of Moses. Supporting cast members include Danny Ting (as Aaron), Tang Mee Kiong (as Miriam), Michelle Ho (as Jochebed), Ezra Ngu (as Pharaoh), and Alfred Lee and Johnny Ho (as the instigators).

Organised by the Kenaniah Young Adult Chorale and the MPI Choir, the production features live accompaniment by professional musicians from across Malaysia, along with the Sibu Kingdom Music Orchestra. The 70-person choral and ensemble sections are performed by the Kenaniah Chorale, Kenaniah Youth Festival Chorale, Kenaniah Young Adult Chorale and MPI Choir, Kenaniah Children Festival Chorale, and singers who are musical theater enthusiasts. The entire musical is performed in Chinese, with live on-site Chinese and English subtitles.

📍 Venue & Directions The performance will take place in the auditorium on level 1 of the Secondary School building at Woodlands International School. You may reach the venue via elevator or staircase (refer to the map attached at the top). Complimentary parking is available on campus.

🍵 Intermission Refreshments Light snacks and beverages will be available for purchase during the 20-minute intermission. To help us keep the auditorium clean, please do not bring any food or drinks into the theatre. Thank you for your cooperation.

💺 Seating Arrangement Seating is divided into zones (VIP / General & Student) based on ticket type. Please choose your seat freely within your designated zone (refer to the seating chart attached at the top).

👶 Age Recommendation This musical is suitable for all ages, and families with children are especially welcome. We recommend that children be aged 3 and above to better understand and engage with the story.

🎫 Admission Policy This performance strictly enforces a one-ticket-per-person policy. All attendees, regardless of age or height, must hold a valid ticket for entry.

🤝 Parental Guidance To ensure a smooth performance, we kindly ask parents or accompanying adults to supervise their children at all times. If a child becomes fussy or unable to sit quietly during the show, we recommend temporarily stepping out of the auditorium until the child calms down, before returning to your seat — this helps avoid disturbing the performers and other audience members' immersive experience.
