简介 / Synopsis

在现代都市中，一位女扮男装的女孩，其命运与千年前的祝英台遥相呼应。她与“梁山伯”在校园相识，于十八相送中情定，却被迫分离。历经楼台相会的绝望、哭灵化蝶的悲壮，他们的爱情超越生死。

《新梁祝·蝴蝶恋》不只是一个古代爱情悲剧，而是每个现代人都熟悉的人生命题——当爱情、理想与现实发生冲突时，我们是否还有勇气忠于自己的内心。祝英台对自由与选择权的追求、梁山伯对真挚情感的坚持，都映照着当代人在家庭期待、社会压力与情感孤独中的挣扎。

In a modern city, a young woman disguised as a man finds her destiny intertwined with Zhu Yingtai from a thousand years ago. She meets Liang Shanbo at school, and their bond grows through a journey of friendship, longing, and separation. Through despair, farewell, and the poignant transformation into butterflies, their love transcends life and death.

The Butterfly Lovers is not merely an ancient tragic romance, but a timeless reflection of the human condition familiar to every modern individual. When love, ideals, and reality come into conflict, do we still have the courage to remain true to our hearts?

Zhu Yingtai’s pursuit of freedom and the right to choose, and Liang Shanbo’s devotion to sincere love, mirror the struggles faced by people today — caught between family expectations, social pressure, and emotional loneliness.

Through the emotions we often leave unspoken — the tenderness of youth, the regret of missed chances, the eruption after long suppression, and the spiritual freedom symbolised by “becoming butterflies” — the production invites audiences to search for their own answers within the story.

What we revisit is not only a classic love legend, but also a reflection of ourselves: our longing for love and freedom, and the quiet romance and courage we still refuse to surrender in the face of reality.

刘博艺 Mack Low Po Yi

毕业于新西兰舞蹈学校，主修芭蕾，副修现代舞。曾获新加坡芭蕾学院全额奖学金，并参与新加坡舞蹈剧场预备课程及波士顿芭蕾舞学院暑期课程。2024年创立 Out Breathe Dance Company，并于2024至2025年多次代表华人参与国家级 JKKN 活动，致力于中国现代舞蹈艺术的创新与推广。

Mack Low graduated from the New Zealand School of Dance, majoring in Ballet with a minor in Contemporary Dance. He was a full-scholarship student at the Singapore Ballet Academy and attended the Singapore Dance Theatre Preparatory Programme as well as the Boston Ballet School Summer Programme. In 2024, he founded Out Breathe Dance Company. From 2024 to 2025, he represented the Chinese community in multiple national-level JKKN events, promoting the innovation and development of Chinese contemporary dance.
