About

The beach is a metaphor for reality itself — a vast shoreline of eternity upon which each human life exists like a grain of sand: fleeting, fragile, and seemingly insignificant against the immensity of existence.

Yet our joys, losses and tragedies are profoundly felt.

Love & Loss on the Beach of Eternity follows a collage of characters whose lives are disrupted by sudden catastrophe — a pandemic, a war, the collapse of certainty. Beginning in innocence and hope, the work gradually descends into tension, grief, survival and transformation.

Rather than addressing political narratives directly, the performance focuses on the intimate human experience of upheaval: how relationships fracture, how fear emerges, and how individuals search for meaning amidst instability.

Through a visceral fusion of experimental yoga, movement, theatre and music, Tripsichore Yoga Theatre explores the paradox of human existence — that even within chaos, suffering and impermanence, there remains tenderness, beauty and something deeply noble within the human spirit.

The work ultimately asks: How do we continue to love in a world where loss is inevitable?
